ThijsNED is the data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We may collect and process the following personal data: email address; authentication data via Firebase; subscription and billing status; Stripe customer and transaction identifiers; optional account preferences, such as saved airports; IP address and server log information; and email delivery metadata for transactional messages.
Personal data is processed on the following legal grounds: performance of a contract, including providing account access and subscription services; legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements; and legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, transactional email delivery, and service reliability.
AYCF Scanner uses essential cookies and similar technologies required for authentication, security, and core functionality. These technologies are necessary for the operation of the Service.
We also use Google Analytics to collect statistical information about how the website is used (such as pages visited and general usage patterns). Google Analytics may process IP addresses and device information. You can accept or reject analytics cookies via the cookie banner displayed on the website.
Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Netherlands region). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf. User authentication is provided via Google Firebase, which also acts as a data processor.
Server infrastructure logs IP addresses, timestamps, request details, and technical metadata for security, fraud prevention, and operational purposes. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 60 days and are then automatically deleted.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe processes payment details, billing information, and fraud prevention data for payment processing purposes.
We do not store full payment card data. We retain transaction references and subscription identifiers necessary for account management, accounting, tax compliance, refunds, disputes, and fraud prevention. Financial records held by us or Stripe are retained for up to 7 years in accordance with Dutch tax and accounting law, including after an AYCF Scanner account is deleted where this retention is legally required.
The Service uses map data from OpenStreetMap and tile services provided by OpenFreeMap. When loading map tiles, your IP address may be transmitted to these providers and their content delivery network as technically necessary to display the map.
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics helps us understand website usage and improve the Service. Google may process technical data such as IP addresses and device information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
We use Resend to send transactional emails, such as subscription and account-related messages. Resend may process email addresses, message content, delivery status, timestamps, and related technical metadata as necessary to deliver those emails. Service emails are sent from noreply@aycfscanner.com.
Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your AYCF Scanner account data and cancel any active subscription. Stripe billing records and related financial records may remain for up to 7 years where required for Dutch tax, accounting, refund, dispute, or fraud-prevention obligations.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Some service providers (Google, Stripe, and OpenFreeMap's content delivery network) may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Resend may also process email delivery data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms are applied.
You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability.
